Assessor of the Town of Trenton

TAKE NOTICE that the Assessor of the Town of Trenton will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll on Tuesdays, May 7th, May 14th, and May 21st from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM, and Saturday, May 18th from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at the Trenton Municipal Center, 8520 Old Poland Road, Barneveld, New York 13304.  Information on how to file an Assessment Complaint is available on the Office of Real Property Services website: www.tax.ny.gov/pit/property/contest/contestasmt.htm, at the Assessor’s Office, or at the Town Clerk’s Office.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Trenton Independent Board of Assessment Review (BAR) will meet on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, between the hours of 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, at the Trenton Municipal Center, 8520 Old Poland Road, Barneveld, New York 13304, in said Town to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments, upon the written application of any person believing him or herself to be aggrieved.

Trenton Falls Trails
April 26, 2013
    Spring is on its way and our plans to open the Trenton Falls Trails are being made. The trails will be open on April 27-28; September 21-22 and September 28-29. We are also planning an enactment of the United States Secretary Seward Meeting with the Foreign Ministers at Trenton Falls in 1863. It is scheduled for August 18 2013. More information to come as the plans develop.
    The Town is looking for groups interested in supplying food during our trail openings. The interested group should contact Betsy Mack weekdays at (315) 896-2664 for further information.
150TH ANNIVERSARY OF HISTORICAL MEETING TO BE CELEBRATED AT TRENTON FALLS
April 25, 2013

    Plans are underway to commemorate the 1863 meeting of the European and South American Foreign Ministers with the United States Secretary of State Seward at Trenton Falls
    The 150th anniversary re-enactment of this Civil War meeting will be on August  18 2013 at Trenton Falls. Our committee is meeting to develope plans. Anyone who is interested in this project may join us on Saturday, May 4th  at the Trenton Municipal Center at 9 am.  This meeting, as are all of the town meetings, is open to the public.

TOWN OF TRENTON HIGHWAY POSTING NOTICE
March 31, 2013


Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 1660 of the Vehicle and
Traffic Law, that certain highways or portions thereof, will be temporarily closed
to vehicles with a gross weight, truck plus load, in excess of six tons (6 tons).
Signs will be posted on highways on or about March 28 2013 and continued
until such time as conditions will permit opening.
